Colonel Erik Krivda

Erik Krivda served 30 years in Infantry leadership positions from Sergeant to Colonel. Through his career he served over 19 years deployed or stationed outside of the Continental United States in Asia, Central America, Europe and the Middle East. COL Krivda led soldiers at various levels in 10th Mountain Division, 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, 172nd Infantry Brigade and 173rd Airborne Brigade. Erik served three tours in Iraq with Task Force 1-63 Armor, Task Force 2-2 Infantry, Task Force 2-28 Infantry and 172nd Infantry Brigade including the second battle of Fallujah in November 2004.  

In addition to his time in Infantry formations, COL Krivda served as an operations officer at US Army Europe and 7th Army Training Command, as a maneuver planner at V Corps and as the G5 Chief of Plans at I Corps. He has experience working in multinational operational headquarters serving as the NATO Joint Forces Command J5 Policy Chief running deterrence management for Central and Northern Europe and as the NATO Communications Director responsible for non-lethal targeting. COL Krivda has trained and worked alongside Russian forces and other European forces both NATO and non-NATO nations and various Pacific nations including China’s People’s Liberation Army. COL Krivda trained at the Army’s Jungle Operations Course in Panama, Northern Warfare Training Center in Alaska and the Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies at Ft. Leavenworth Kansas.
